Homelessness prevention:

 

Support legislation that focuses on both children and adults. This should include an examination of the causes of homelessness among teens who may experience mental health concerns, experience rejection due to various forms of abuse and neglect including gender identity, or abuse within families, identifying and educating students and families regarding the dangers of human trafficking, and identifying groups who are most at risk for homelessness. The emphasis will be on preventative work.
